Cheese Pandesal
1 whole egg [large, 60grams]
1/4 cup sugar [50 grams]
2 tsp instant dry yeast [6 grams]
1 cup fresh milk (lukewarm) [240 ml]
2 tbsp oil (any cooking oil or melted butter instead [30 ml]
3 cups bread flour [405 grams]
1/2 tsp salt [3 grams]
*cheese for filling
*bread crumbs for coating
•Bake in a pre-heated oven @ 180°C or 360°F for 20 to 25 mins. (Baking time may vary on the tyoe and function setting of the oven.)
•Yield: 20 Pcs. (approx. 36 gramss each
Note:
1. Bread flour can be replaced by all purpose flour. May add up 1-2 tbsp oil/butter to match the dough consistency.
2. Dough can be sticky which is normal particularly in using bread flour. May grease dough/hand with oil or dust some flour if needed to get rid of its stickiness.DO NOT add or avoid adding excessive amount of flour as it will result to a dense and dry dough.
